Hello! 

Does anyone subscribe to or get these blog posts anymore? It seems Instagram has replaced this online venue - or, am I incorrect?

My last post here was 2022, shortly after we moved back to Vashon Island. A lot has changed since then.

Last Fall, my husband Jay and I decided to relocate on the island. We need less land to care for and I need a more consolidated Studio and office. Right now, my office is in the house, my mini studio turned into my frame shop and my "real" studio (Dockton Art Studio) is the third bay of the garage.

Also, I have noticed that I may be missing my "Golden Years." I have been waiting for them to arrive but recently, an artist friend, along with my daughter, suggested that I'm in the middle of them NOW.  I imagine Golden Years to be days when I don't have obligations to make art or volunteer for art groups. I'm consciously letting go of that now. 

I also imagine Golden Years to be when I learn new things about art and life in general.  I have a few things in mind, as time and energy allow.
